A powered roller conveyor system consists of a powered roller assembly, aluminum side panels, a sheet frame, tie rods, bearings, a drive unit, and a chain assembly. A non-powered roller conveyor system also consists of a non-powered roller assembly, aluminum side panels, a sheet frame, tie rods, and bearings. The powered roller conveyor system's drive unit drives the traction chain, which in turn rotates the sprockets on each powered roller barrel, thereby performing the conveying operation. With a non-powered roller conveyor system, workpieces are pushed or pulled, or pressed against each other, moving on freely movable rollers. This conveying configuration occupies a small footprint and offers flexible scalability. It is also directionally adjustable, allowing for flexible changes in conveying direction up to 180 degrees. Accumulating and bending roller conveyors are also available.
